My name is Sarah and I live in Hampshire with my husband two little boys (aged 5yrs & 7yrs).
I have got back into riding this year following a break whilst I was pregnant/my boys were little. I have 26yrs experience and previously (up until 3yrs ago) owned my own horse - he was my first.
This morning our pony arrived, Holli is a 12.2HH NF mare and primarily for the children to learn to ride on, but I also hope to train her to harness.
Everyone was laughing at the yard when the transport company turned up in their MASSIVE, swanky six horse box and this tiny pony came off!!
She had a look round the yard and after five minutes in the field looked like she had always lived there, she seemed very calm!!
Hopefully, next week sometime my new horse TC (or "The Colonel" to give him his full name!!) will arrive. He is a 17.1HH Suffolk Punch X and a h-u-g-e boy!! However, as I am the human equivalent of a Suffolk Punch I hope we will get on well!!
I am sooooooooooooooo excited it's better than Christmas!!!!

Hi Sarah, this is a begging post to say, please please please post pics of your Suffolk fella, I am an adorer!!! And I would love to hear all about him (I think my lad has Suffolk in him, somewhere...and I think they are absolutely amazing). Are you a member of the Suffolk society? I have just joined after meeting my first Suffolk at Your Horse Live!
