Hi, I just thought I would introduce myself. I am a novice pony owner of just 4 weeks and the proud owner of a beautiful 6 month old Welsh Section A colt foal. Very pleased too come across this forum as I am sure I will be needing lots of advice.

Hi Lincslass - where abouts are you in Lincs then? I'm not far from Stamford, are you anywhere near there? Good luck with your colt!
Btw - who is the novice, you or your pony? ;D

Hi, I live about 10 miles out of Boston, and it's me who is the complete novice (I've had to wait until my thirties before being able to own my own pony. My colt foal is the novice who is cheekily learning and putting up with my lack of experience. Basically two novices, learning to accept and bond with each other, but I'm sure we will get there. Hi Yellowbellies
I'm just outside Lincoln, and also had to wait until my thirties to own my first horse, although I've ridden everyone elses for years, good luck with your new colt.

Another Lincs/Cambs border person here, officially Lincs though. Must be quite close to Miller by sounds of it.
Can recommend Garry to anyone that needs help, he has been to us to help with one of our horses.
Lincslass what are your plans for your colt?
Hi NinaV, we really must finally meet up in 2006 its long overdue.
Anyone compete either Sheepgate, Manor Farm, Deeping Show or suchlike?

Hello redcedar, you will have to let us know when and what you are doing at Sheepgate and if we are they will say hi. We do mostly showing and dressage there.

Hi all, I'm just south of Lincoln, nice to see there's so many of you local! I normally compete at Caythorpe but am having an enforced break due to my horse's lameness Being a relative towing novice, Sheepgate is a bit far for me at the moment!
