hey!! erm ok slightly crazy post I know but at the moment I'm at HAUC at Edgmond in Shropshire and I could do with a bit of advice. Where are good places to go for meals, shopping, etc. And are there any riding stables/horse riding places that you could recommend.
Kinda a bit lost down here at the mo!!!
Thanks for any recommendations!

Hi Sassy, I did all my exams at Tong Riding Centre. Its near Shifnal and its brilliant. Mrs Bates is a Fellow Ship and she really knows her stuff!!!!
I am now living in Weston Super Mare but still have friends that go there and love it.
If you go, Please let me know how you get on.
Pip.

There is a riding school at Muxton, Telford which isn't that far away - near to the golf club. There are stables at Granville just up the road but not sure if you can hire a horse to ride.
Places to eat - what are you looking for? If you come into Telford there is The Hub, Frankie and Bennies which my girlfriend and I love. There is a really nice place near the Lilleshall Sports Centre but can't remember what it's called - very expensive though!
Shopping? Probably Telford Town Centre, what are you shopping for? Clothes?

I live in Telford & there are a number of riding schools to choose from and LOTS of places to eat, shop etc etc. Riding schools : Lilleshall Equestrian Centre Telford Equestrian Centre The Garrison The Wyke Kemberton Riding Stables Each offer different things and for different levels. Best to visit & assess yourself or PM me for a personal opinion ! Shifnal is a great place for a night out as there are something like 20 pubs (!) and lots of fab eateries - indian, chinese, greek, pubs & restaurants. I went to Harper too - graduated in 1996 though ! Did BSc (hons) Agri-Food. What course are you on ? Emma S

Sassy My yard is only 6 miles from HA - if you love horses you're welcome to come and play with mine. What is your history with horses - do you have one, or have you owned one in the past?
