I'm not in Rutland, but wish I was. So jealous of you lot, I used to live there when I was a kid and my dad was in the RAF. I went to school in Oakham and we lived in Edith Weston - before the reservoir. Just reading your thread brought back very happy memories.

Hi there, I live about 14 miles away near Melton Mowbray. If you need any advice - either locating any horsey stores or business wise - get in touch. You can email me at jane@yellowduckcreative.co.uk There's a brilliant tack shop at John O'Gaunt and there are some excellent start up business resources in the area too!

CWG just isn't the same you know Carol helped me out when I got Dylan back recently, she gave me Vicky B's number, after I got the weight back on him and sorted his feet etc out he's gone over to her herd at Baston (have to do PM for the full story on that one - this forum has ears...and I can't be ar*ed with it) good to see you around though, how did Grotbag settle is she luvvin the northerners up there? laylaw - count me in when you are ready for case studies, well not me that gorg babe on the left there staring into the distance! I'll check out your new website when it's done as I'd love you to come see Meg as she might benefit from the Bowen.

lol it's blooming cold up here Nina! The Mollycob has gone out in her HW TO rug with a fleece underneath for last week as she is being such a fairy about the weather! Although to be fair to her bless her, I dont venture out of the house without at least 5 layers of clothing on! People at work howl when they see me in the morning with billions of layers on, and my hat and scarf don't come off till at least lunchtime! Mollycob (apart from the cold) is loving it up here - we hacked through Emmerdale the other week! Cobs eyes on stalks as they were filming but thankfully she managed to not land me with any You've Been Framed moments.
Miller, I've just realised who you are lol, so glad to hear about your house!

we hacked through Emmerdale the other week! bloody hell, that's almost worth moving just for that - it's hard working up the enthusiasm to get on Meg when we get to walk along a long flat road no trees in site just arable fields, turn a corner and walk along another long flat road etc etc etc, occasionally we might get to trot on a farm track if we spoil ourselves! Glad it's worked out well for you xx
