I do!
Have a 16.2/3 black gelding who is now 16. He started BD in 2003 after a career change from BSJA and despite us not having had transport for the last year has 82 points.
He is schooling at Adv Med at home and just about to do his first med competitively - have done a couple unaff and was supposed to do a BD one last week but I was ill so had to withdraw.
Do you compete?

Oh hello to you both! I am planning to affiliate in BD next summer. Jack was bought to sj but i had a baby 2 years ago and being pregnant i started to really concentrate on my schooling as i stopped hacking out. I got addicted and informed Jack he was going to have a career change! We only got out twice last year because of transport failing but were placed both times out on 69% +. Now i am expecting again so not competing this season but i cant wait to start! We are training at elementary level now (on our good days lol!) and i cant wait to get started! Ruth what level do you compete at? xxx

Hi all,
I don't compete, but train in dressage as am just fascinated by the whole subject. Unfortunately as a gluttan for punishment I generally take on green horses set them up in the basics and then sell or loan them. I have an interview at the TTT tomorrow (Saturday) scarry, to see if I an eligable for a working pupil place, so hope to be competing in a few years when have finished training, money and horse power allowing!!!

I don't compete BD yet, but I'm aiming to!
I have two horses I'm aiming to compete - first is a Welsh Sec D, who is quite talented, but has just had injury after injury - vet says we have just been incredibly unlucky!
I also have a new horse, a lusitano, just three years old, and going through the backing process slowly.

Hi Lucy, I have just started doing some mediums, we had a break for a few months as my other horse was ill and my heart just wasn't in it, I couldn't concentrate on anything but getting him better, now he seem's to be on the mend ( touch wood ) ;D , I'm out and about again and hoping to qualify for the winter finals but time will tell! I used to show jump and event, couldn't stand dressage, thought it was boring, but now I'm addicted to it, the more you learn the more interesting it gets! Hope you do get to have a go at the affiliated's..... Great fun!

I used to think Dressage was boring but once you get into it, its fanastic. That amazing feeling of floating on air when your horse goes well is the best.
The more you learn, the more you want to know.
Got an Unaff on March 19 - only Prelim 18, its been a few months since we've been out and about doing dressage so I am hoping he goes well. Have extreme problems keeping his attention as he suffers from seperation anxiety, we are going with another horse which I find can be more of a hinderance than if he goes on his own, but hey, you have to be able to deal with any situation. So we'll see.
