Does anyone use one of these?Can anyone give me a detailed description of where the straps lay on the horses face? Any success stories from users? Thanks

Hi KNK
There is a good article in Your Horse (December I think )re fitting of nosebands.
I use a Mexican Grackle at the mo, and some points to note re fitting (from Your Horse, but from my memory and words!):
* The top rings should lie approx half way between the horse's eye and bottom of cheekbone * The top fastening strap should fasten just below the cheeks * The bottom fastening strap should fasten on the side of the horse's face, not in the chin groove * You should be able to get at least one finger between the fastened straps * The middle bit, ie, the round bit, should be padded and high enough up the face to sit on the bony part - the best nosebands allow the straps to go through and you can adjust
