did you notice though how on that site not one person slagged her off! at least she's trying to do her best for horse, maybe we should go and offer her some FRIENDLY advise instead of tearing her to shreds!

Linz, Im afriad I dont agree with you. Are you saying that you would rather people just walked away because they dont have any experience? She saw a horse she wants to help, she is trying to help. She has listened to the advice given and seems genuinely keen to help the horse and do the right thing, instead of getting arsy and judgemental which is what typically happens on here lately!
She wasn't lunging the horse the groom was as thats what they do to break a horse, she was watching. I've seen some sights in Egypt to make your blood boil so this girl making steps towards IH in a very non IH country is something to be supported,
What a shame we are all so quick to pass judgement on Kelly's site.

We aren't all quick to do that gem "Talou" knows nothing about horses, but over a period of time she's been the only person to take an interest in this horse. The first person to bother to groom him for goodness knows how long and the first person to try to get him turnout in the arena regularly. At one point the grooms stopped her handling him and her dad had to get in touch with the owner, who had to tell them to let her be involved (I think it was her dad, going from memory here). I think she's on a hiding to nothing. I suspect the grooms will humour her when she's there and get on with it when she isn't. But it would be nice to think that when she passes on some of the ideas she's been given they will put then into practise... I suppose most of us here have been through a learning curve where we discover that the "experts" might not always do things the best way. It looks like this girl is at the start of that process. She gets so much pleasure from telling people about that horse, I think it would be a shame if she stopped because people started to slate her (and I think it's starting looking again just now). If she feels supported maybe she will keep posting and be able to follow some of the advice that people are giving, and make life a little bit easier for the horse. That's what I think anyway
