I haven't seen the previous posts, but is it possible (don't know if its your field?) to electric fence the ponies so they can't get to the fence where the idiots are feeding them from? Then if they climb over they are tresspassing.....? Just a thought as it must be like banging your head against a brick wall trying to tell them. Best wishes for pony and hope you are rested

Oh this really winds me up!!!! I'm having problems too, and my pony had laminitis this autumn for the first time in his life (he's 15 this month). I found out last week that the builders next door have been shovelling polos and other 'treats' down them. That combined with the villagers feeding all sorts of sh*t has undoubtedly contributed!!!
It's worth also pointing out Jo that the toxic pesticides are thought to be implemented in laminitis. Bet they're not feeding organic carrots, eh?!?
I'm livid on your behalf actually. After paying for vets myself and beating myself up over whether or not it was my fault (he's barefoot) I was furious to find out about the builders - who started work in the late summer!

Oh my goodness stupid man... When she can go out maybe as above said put her into electric fencing in middle of field. Maybe even put up a note to say this pony poorly and do not feed her. I do hope you have got some sleep....

Put up a sign saying
These horses are on special veterinary diets and feeding titbits may well KILL THEM
or
RINGWORM RISK - do not touch the horses
How is she today Jo? A bit concerned that we haven't had an update on her. Did you manage to get some sleep?
