www.dutchsporthorses.com/forsale.htmI have a friend that are thinking of buying a sportshorse and she found these people , i just think they look ratrher dodgy, but perhaps I am wrong....sorry dont mean the dealer in himself, but some of the horses look a bit weak behind....but maybe they are great...just dont know where to best find a sportshorse, from a dealer or from a private person?

Hmm, I haven't heard of these people and although the set up looks professional enough in the photos, I'm not a 100% about the photos of the horses for sale, alot of them seem to have poor conformation and many of them seem to be unable to stand four square in the photos although this could be a bit harsh of me as the photo is just a moment in time.
I would treat them with caution, especially with the turnover they seem to have and the fact that it's the owners daughters training them and there seems to be no mention of the daughters history or competition record ie; dressage, so they are an unknown quantity.

Mmm.... the young stallion looks very ribby (centre line 5) and some of the horses have a scared look (perhaps I'm reading something in to it) so I wouldn't go there myself. Mind you - and here's the snob coming out - bit of a flashy site for 'quality' horses!

The horses who come from 'dealers' are often kept very lean in this way... IMO they can often become different horses temerpament/looks wise after some tlc.. this can be good or bad! A friend of mine bought a lovely underweight coloured and he turned into a bronko beast full of energy as she fed him up... she ended up with too much horse and sold him on She was a novice too - not a good combo

There could be some unfortunate camera angles If I was looking I might visit, at least there are plenty of horses to see and compare with each other. Buying horses is filled with pitfalls isn't it?
