my mum had a hairy ride on jack yesterday. her an our friend went out and everything was fine until they were comin home and Kathy (our friend) said that they should aviod the road and go down a grass track that had fencing one side and electric sheep fencing the other. they came up to a low hanging tree and jack tripped on a branch. cause he tripped his bum swung into the electric fencing. mum said he was a babe. he got tangled and bolted through some of the branches into the sheeps field. she said he didnt rear or do anything wrong, he just wanted to get away from the fence. she said he stopped well and turned back to Kathy whos horse had stepped into the field coz he wanted to follow jack. Kathy got of and stepped on the wire (rubber boots) and jack stepped over sweet as anything. he was so good mum wanderd if the fencing was actually on. Kathy touched it and it was. to think what could have happened if he had got caught up more, or if he reared or anything. mum isnt incredably confident and hasnt sat a big rear in her life. to think that he must have been repeatably zapped cause they were stood still 4 a minute or two trying to find a way out of it and he behaved so well. we r so proud of him. its really good 4 an exracer.

Makes you so proud of them (mums AND horses!) doesn't it?! Well done to both for keeping cool in difficult circumstances.
