Happy new year! I don't have a mobile field shelter, but just over a year ago bought a normal field shelter from Gwynedd Garden Buildings near Caernarfon. Although in my opinion, the wood isn't as thick as I'd like, it was very cheap! Mine is a 20 x 10. We put kick boards in our selves. I have a 10.2 and a 14hh cob. Is that 8 foot high? Can you tie down mobile shelters when it's windy? Can they move when you horses rub their bums? Have you seen one erected already, that you can have a good look at? Sorry about the questions, but I was looking into mobiles myself, before deciding on a cheaper 'static' one, which I lined with rubber matting, as it gets really muddy where we are.

We bought a Redmire ( they have a website if you do a search) mobile shelter about eighteen months ago. Very sturdy, looks good and has to be towed by a tractor or similar to move it. You can get optional metal strips to line things that might be chewed. Not the cheapest but it seems to be excellent quality. The delivery/ assembly men did a good job.
