Breeze whickers when im bringing her feed bucket. But doesn,t make a noise when she is on the yard with others horses, or when we pass other horses on a hack....
Ocean has only just started whickering when i bring her feed bucket. But will squeal and stamp if another horse goes near her on the yard. But seems to be scared if we meet horses out hacking but is quite...
Both of my girls will scream, shout run about in a panic, if one is taken out of the field without the other......Theres only the 2 of them in there field.....
Actually thinking about it, most of the horses in the surrounding fields r very quite also....

Toons used to be so silent, didn't whinny or whicker at all. Until I got Jaz. Jaz whickers every time she sees you (mainly in the hope to receive some food as I think she's been hungry in the past). Toons started to whinny to call to Jaz, then to whicker at feeding time and now he grunts at mares too so has become quite vocal.
Spirit (Jaz' foal) is even more vocal. Whinnies when the others are out riding, welcomes them back, squeals when he plays - the whole lot.
Tammy, Jaz used to go and park herself in a corner when I entered her stable. She'd also been 'taught' the hard way I think. She still sometimes stops munching then remembers its "only" me LOL.

Pie whinnies for attention. If he sees me in the kitchen and I'm ignoring him, he gets very vocal. Out on a ride he whinnies to anything that moves! Jubilee is a screamer. She is quiet as a mouse when she is with Pie, but take him away and she lets rip. Also, if her decahedron runs out of treats she shouts at it!

In winter....Ginger whinnies in the morning when I arrive, neighs to let me know where he is in a dark field at bed time, tells me off for being too slow making his dinner, and squeals like a pig when he's broncing round the field at play time.
In summer....not a word!

It depends if ive split him up from his girlfriend. if hes in the field he doesnt make a sound.. if i bring him in and not the other mares. then he gets frustrated and wont shut up
