Hello Im my opinion the best place to start is Horsemart.co.uk its brillant site i sold my second horse on there within a week. If that failes and you wish to splash out and get your horse sold quicky put Him in the Horse and Hound Magazine. I sold my 15h show hunter pony the day i advertised him the best way is to include a colour pic!! hope this helps x

Horsemart is pretty good, and very sensibly priced. Horse and Hound is definitely a good place to sell, but the cost of the advert can be extortionate!!! Horse Deals offers a similar service to H&H but for about half the price.
I would also think there are other places which might be good, depending on the breed & temperament of your horse. New Rider can be good, as can NFED - but would say that both of these tend to have 'types' of horse which do better than others.

www.horsequest.co.uk is fantastic, its about £30 for unlimited text and a colour photograph, and an extra £5 for each additional photo. I have sold 2 horses through horse quest and had about 12 calls for one and over 30 for the other which was lovely because it meant I was in a position to decide who had my horses as opposed to who would buy them.

I would also suggest horsemart and horsequest. Last July/August I bought a horse and sold a horse (not the same one!!!) through horsemart. It was excellent value as it cost £10 to advertise the horse for 3 months with up to 3 photographs and unlimited text. The people who bought the horse we were selling only live a couple of miles up the road from us and had seen the ad I had placed in the local tack shop, but said it was seeing the horse on horsemart that prompted them to come and view her.

Have to agree with most on here! " horsemart" is brill, I had calls within an hour of advertising my mare, she was sold, boxed and in her new home within 12hrs (would have been quicker if i hadnt been at work) . www.horsemart.co.ukAlso on here ! Good luck. x
