I got this as part of a Ringmaster email - seems like a good idea - although how widespread this is used I don't know - maybe just Thames valley area? You can SmartWater your home for as little as £35.29 a month. SmartWater can also be used for marking Vehicles, Motorcycles, Scooters, Horseboxes, tack, boats and garden equipment and furniture. SmartWater can also be used in businesses. Please refer to the attached document and for further information please go to www.smartwater.com

Yep do the postcoding stamps as well. But they dont work on synthetic tack (or we cant seem to get them to come out right) so use this on them & both on leather saddles.

Stormhorse, synthetic saddles cannot be stamped, that is why Horsewatch engrave the postcode on the stirrup bar. Also means we can do clippers, those expensive Sprenger irons and the Aurigan bits as well.
Have to say, catching three crims covered in Smartwater was a bit of a coup, as they weren't in for theft, but some other misdeed.

I was going to mention the engraving too.... Yep I agree it was a good coup; I got the email & saw that! ANYTHING that helps deter or detect crime has got to be well worth doing. Smartwater looks like another weapon in the armoury. Of course most people still won't do anything to protect their property anyway, will they?! And that's aimed only at those who won't/don't, not those who have & unfortunately still lost stuff.
