I had a fab day. Got up bright and early, went to see to Ria at 7.15 with non-horsey oh (it must have been xmas!! lol) who helped muck out. Ria was too excited to eat her xmas breakfast so had to leave it with her, but we opened her pressie with her (a stocking full of tit bits) which she enjoyed thoroughly. My oh innocently left the bag of tit bits on the wall of her stable much to Ria's enjoyment, as she quietly picked the bag off the wall and stood munching them!! In her breakfast and dinner she had the fresh veg peelings (sprouts, carrots, parsnips, etc), carrots, bread, apples, and some guinness!!
then went home, opened my pressies from santa, went to oh's house and opened more pressies, had a glass of ginger wine and had to leave half of it as was feeling tipsy it was so strong!! then headed back home to mums where my brother came down to visit with his partner and my 2 year old nephew who is adorable!! Then later in the day my mum got engaged!! which was really nice.

Yay I had a fab christmas day - rob asked me to marry him:) I said yes! Went over to see neddies and gave them sme guiness and they had swede in their tea. Very good day - but burned one thing from each meal!!! The croissant tops for brekkie - didn't notice as had bucks fizz. And then the pastry decoration on our 'en croute' was a little black!! Nevermind bought myself a timer in sales - you just can't smell stuff burning in an aga and there's no light on to remind you you are in the middle of trying to cook!! Hope your cat is better beyrlsmum
