We had our horse feed and bedding stolen just before Christmas - all bedding (Easibed shavings) was marked, so were most of the bags of horse feed - so it is unlikely that they can be sold, but just the same; someone thinks whenever they need more bedding or more feed for their horse they'll just go and get it from the yard nearby - the police won't do anything? If the police has the attitude that they won't or cannot do anything, so why bother - next time I need a bale of shavings, I'll just go at 3 am and nick it from the yard near me; even though they know it's me the police won't bother to do anything??? Is this where we've come to - cannot fight the criminals even though there is clear evidence that they've taken our stuff??? All the police need to do is to go and make a routine visit to some people they have in mind, to check whether they have bags of marked feeds / bedding and they'd nail them - but no, they are not interested / don't have the resources... but if I happened to speed a bit (well I can't much as my car is very old!!!) on the way back from the stables - ho ho they DO have resources to book me? ?

I know it is frustrating, but DON'T blame the Police, blame the Government, they are the ones who set the Policing targets. The Police can only tick certain boxes and equine crime is not even on the bottom rung of the ladder! Whereas speeding is a priority. If, like me, you want to change things, use your vote, and get rid of this conniving, deceitful government. 'Nuff said..............
