Why are we still having anon users on here? Can they still be traced? We're getting back to the anon users coming on a digging at people and I thought that was supposed to be one of the things sorted by having this new forum. Is there any reason why we couldn't require people to be registered users before they post (like on Newrider etc). Can't they still hide their true identity from all but mods and admin by going invisible in their profile? And - can we have a button to log on when we are about to post a reply? It makes life easier when we've forgotten. I know you can just leave yourself logged on forever, but how sad does that make us look? Bad enough keep nipping in here when I'm supposed to be working at home as it is...

Sorry to hijack thread but it's not really worth starting a new one!
I have tried to log in today but am unable to. My name appears in the 'users online' bar but I cannot check my PM box or post as a logged in user.
Any ideas?

Lisa change the box to logout never when you login. I had that problem and doing that fixed it.

Come on... why do we have to have anons on here? They're reverting to type and people will get scared to post photos and get stalked etc etc just like the old days. You could always make one section without login required if you want to keep the lurve stuff able to be anon. Maybe NH Chat without login required, the rest of the forum login only.

Hmm, I can see what you are saying (having been on the receiving end of anons that aren't prepared to stand up for themselves : but I guess they can still be traced even though posting anon. If someone wanted to take issue over a nasty post, then they would be able to contact the Mods, have the user traced and ultimately barred or reported to their net supplier. Some good points yesterday though about splitting the log in. It doesn't bother me much but not everyone is able to handle the anons. That can't be said of you KAS as we know from this and the old DG ;D, so nice that you have brought it up for others.
