HORSE WATCH - NEWS UPDATE
ISSUE NUMBER 5
W/E 14/08/05
The items listed below where stolen from a livery yard in Sandhurst, Berkshire between 25th and 26th July 2005, between the times of 2015hrs and 0800hrs.
1 old brown leather Cob size GP saddle.
1 old brown leather 17 1/2" medium-wide to wide GP saddle with extra 2 D-rings on rear off side, scuff mark on cantle.
1 new brown leather bridle with eggbut snaffle and plain leather reins.
1 brand new full size brown leather bridle with brown rubber reins.
1 cob size brown leather bridle (taken apart).
1 brand new pony size black leather headcollar with brass name plate on cheek piece (empty) and lead rope.
1 new pony/cob size brown leather showing bridle with straight bar showing bit which has brass horse shoe designs either side, attached was a brown leather showing lead rein with a brass double chain with clips.
1 medium/large red and black lunge cavesson with a brown lunge rope attached.
1 brown DRIZA-BONE long wax coat, x-long, looked very worn and one of the inside leg straps is broken.
1 small navy AIRO-WEAR body protector, navy blue throughout.

Between 11.30 and 12.30 am on Thursday, 14th July, four stallion ponies were stolen from Daffodil Farm, Cornford, Near Buxton. Three men were seen loading the ponies onto a horsebox at the farm.
Descriptions of the ponies:
CHARLIE: is 4' high, red, long bushy mane.
MINSTREL: is 3' miniature shetland. White with white mane and red marking on back - like a saddle. Red mark on face.
SPARKLE: is 3'6" tall, white, with a red diamond flash on forehead. Blond mane and tail.
FLAME: is 3 ft tall, dark red. White marking on forehead. Blond/brown mane and tail.

The following saddle has been recovered in Surrey.
Described as a Farrindons dressage saddle and girth, together with a snaffle bridle.

BAILEY 2 HORSE TRAILER, COLOUR GREEN, 4 WHEEL BASE, FRONT AND REAR LOAD WITH NEW FLOORING INSIDE. INDEX ON REAR R426 XOL. STOLEN FROM BROUGHTON GROUNDS LANE, BROUGHTON, MILTON KEYNES BETWEEN 1100hrs AND 1440hrs ON MONDAY 25th JULY 2005.
