Hello lovely people!
On our last vet check-up our vet noticed that our mare has a few gaps between some of her teeth, just down to her age, but bits of food are getting lodged in there. His suggestion to us is to use a big syringe everyday to almost "pressure-wash" the gunk out, something which I know she will not take kindly to!
I've got her used to the syringe being around and touching her mouth just by using the pressure-release principles so she now doesn't bat an eyelid but I'm not entirely sure how to progress from here! If this is something we need to be doing for the rest of her life I'd love to find a way of making it as unstressful (enjoyable might be pushing it!) as possible for both her and myself so ideas on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
