Thursday was Spring's 4th birthday! And this year, while I'm not going to get her properly schooled (I'm not sure she's ready yet), I would like to work with her towards sitting on her etc. Anyone have any tips or tricks for how to start working towards this? She's developed nice manners on the ground (most of the time) and we have a brilliant bond, so I'm not worried in that way. I just want to do this right X

How exciting! Find yourself a good instructed who can help you through the backing phase that was the best thing I did with mine. Look forward to hearing how it goes

Thank you - I started at the weekend, just trying to get a folded blanket onto her withers area - she was really jumpy and nervous about that, so I think I'll work on that first!
I'm going to look at finding the guy that is schooling her though - just to get a bit of professional help! X
