Hello,
I have recently taken on a 10yr old dog. He has no known health issues and the vets say he is in great health. He has only ever been fed adult dog food rather than senior food.
It has gotten me thinking. What is the difference between adult dog food and senior dog food?
Cheers Peeps

Not sure tbh, but would imagine the manufacturers would say its a little lower in calories and poss more easily digestible.

As above and some makes have things like Glucosomine added to aid movement etc.

If he's in good shape, I'd leave things as they are. My cat is 13 this year, I occasionally buy him senior food, but usually it's just the adult stuff. If you want to give him a supplement for his joints as you would an older horse, then Cortaflex canine is good
