Stressed, bored, not enough stimulation or just didn't like the colour.

Well it doesnt say the circumstances. I doubt the dog just walked up to the car and started chewing (although maybe if he had driven through some horse poo or something dogs find tasty ). The dog may have been shut in the garage where the car was and therefore stressed or bored. Whatever the reason though i dont feel sorry for the bloke! Comments like she knew she had done wrong, guilty, wouldnt go near him!! Also to give the dog away the day after?

A dog would do that because he has a stoooopid owner who like Ladynibs says above didnt provide enough stimulation, simples!

Cos she knows he loves the stooopid car more than he cares for her. She's a mix of two loyal, intelligent breeds that need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation and that's what happens when you ignore their needs. Let's hope she gets more kindness and attention in her new home. She looks like a lovely dog too, if a bit sad.

My dog doesn't often chew but she will gnaw on plastic - bank cards, pens, Rorys toys - & did one time chew a surf board no idea why as she is exercised, not often left alone and has plenty of her own toys. The dog probably wanted a new home... Hope shes in a good one now.

Agree that the dog wanted a new home with an owner that loves her better than the previous twonk did, and I can bet it didn't like the car either!

Must say she made a damned good job of it, clever girl. As it was fibreglass it could well have had quite a sweet taste once she got past the paintwork.

just didn't like the colour. That makes sense, although as all the debris is on the drive so it looks like the car and dog were outside. Looks like a boring yard with nothing to do though. The imagination runs wild........................ Hope she's gone to a better home now.
