Convert to pdf or convert from pdf? Convert to pdf is easy, convert from pdf much harder and free pdf converters usually convert to pdf only. Calibre is free software for creating e-books and will convert from pdf to other formats. Go to calibre-ebook.com/

I'm afraid the whole point of PDF is that it isn't easy to convert from. It's designed to be used for publishing info in a format that other people cannot edit, so that no one can change what has been written. The sure fire way of doing it is with Adobe's PDF writer, but it is expensive.
