Is to not turn 50 this year.
And given that my birthday is not until the end of November it's one that I can guarantee to keep far longer than any go to the gym, not eat chocolate, not drink wine etc type resolutions! Already feeling quite smug about how well I'll stick to it!

Its a number not nothing more nothing less............I loved turning 50 believe me life starts all over again, you can say things and do things that you sometimes felt you couldn't do before, and anyway its not the number that defines you its the attitude you have to life............remember 'growing older is mandatory, growing up is optional'

Physically I feel my age and more sometimes, mentally.... sometimes 15 is mature and I still HATE being told what I should and shouldn't do lol.

Ruthp, you don't have to turn fifty. You just call it your forty tenth birthday. Worked for me.

Yes Liz, that was my plan to ensure that I don't break my resolution!
My mother worked it even better, she celebrated her 21st 21st birthday when she was 42', and then started counting! She'll be "59" this year!!!!
