Well, I'm back and had a lovely 2 days. We had SUPERB food, I was given far too many boxes of chocolates, some beautiful scarves, a book on New York, another book called "Fifty Sheds Damper" by C.T Grey - a mildly rude parody on a certain set of books! My friend started reading it aloud and stopped very quickly, giggling! Children present! I had lots of lovely stuff and was very, very spoilt. I love it! I'm going to have to work hard on getting fit and in working oreder so that I can enjoy all the goodies! My brother in law gave me a hamper with olives, ante pasta stuff, crab pate, brussels pate, gorgeous flat breads, about 8 different cheeses and a veritable charcuterie of chorizo and other meats. I'm going to have to have a Mediteranean food evening! This morning my friends took me to Blue Anchor where we had brunch in a super little cafe on the seafront - the establishment celebrates it's 80th birthday in 2014! I had a wonderful time.

Great news Liz, now that the surgery is behind you you can concentrate on getting 100% for when the better weather arrives - or should that be "if"? Take it easy now and enjoy relaxing indoors.
