Go on then, did anyone make a diddy of themselves?! I went as my friends "date" (her bf is working away from home) to her work night out. Considering we went for lunch at 1 and started on the wine I think we did not to bad, I was on the water by 11 and she fell down the stairs on the way out, revealing her under ware to all. All in all it was a good night Hope everyone enjoyed there parties.

LOL Wills, I remember parties like that.......! Nowadays for me it's just my fella's annual works Christmas dinner, and that's usually fairly sedate. Though rumour has it that the boss's wife has decided that we've all got to play Charades after the meal this time - think of me on Friday night, won't you?

I can only thank all the powers that be that I work from home, albeit for a huge company, and all my colleagues are scattered across the globe, so I am spared the ghastliness of the office Christmas party!
Bah humbug!,
And a merry Christmas to you all.

At least your friend was wearing underwear! Mine was a breeze compared to the last two years - I didn't make an idiot out of myself previously, but my Finance Director repeatedly declared his undying love for me the last two years last year, including detailing how he'd leave his wife & children for me #awkward. Thankfully, this year said person was absent & bar mild drunken banter, nothing untoward happened. Sore head the next day mind - parting until 3.30am has that affect on me now though. I still made it to my 9am meeting though & excitingly this year, got Staff of the Year award & £200 vouchers for a shop of my choice. Much appreciated

I decided to cook a posh dinner for the girls that used help out on my yard, sort of a Christmas reunion, aged 13 to 21! Most never actually had a 3 course dinner, 'twas very posh and I even had non alcohol wine! I was very proud of my first ever attempt to do a 3 course dinner for 6 people.. All vegetarian too, and they had a ball at their fancy do! That's my xmas party.. So no antics.. I do t drink anyway though.. I must say tho, the food was Devine

Our company doo was an absolute hoot! I organize the whole thing too. It's totally paid for by the company as a Thank You from the big boss, so I make sure there's plenty of vino on the tables (and water of course!),.. and there was a tab on the bar too for us all.
Secret Santa pressies were passed around after the meal...and some of them well,...err let's just say were more fitting to partaking in a sexy night in with the OH if you get my drift! LOL
We had a fantastic night at one of the local hotels 'up on the hill' on the outskirts of the countryside, so it's very pictueresque too.
There certainly were some sights as the night went on and the ones that had me in stitches are those that are normally 'oh so quiet' at work,..but on the pop,..Ha,..they're absolutely hilarious!! One or two of the guys that normally prop the bar up after dinner, just never stopped dancing all night, it was so out of the ordinary for them, but at the same time, so great to see them having a ball.
Hope anyone esle who's due on their annual staff night out has as good a time as i had.
Festive Felicitations to you All...
Amber xx
