try and have a friend come in at least once a day... panic attacks are not nice at the best of times but to have one knowing you can't get out the house is worse. Keep your phone at your bedside if you can, and dont feel you can't phone a friend if you need it.

Take care of yourself Liz, - I had an op.late August and I was out for a couple of hours. I couldn't drive for 6 weeks but I drove 90 miles to see my mother last week and the difference to when I last drove to see her 3 weeks ago is amazing but I know I am still not 100%. I still get tired quicker and mentally I am still a bit 'foggy'. Healing takes a lot of energy and that's why our bodies close down in order to heal and if we don't listen we only delay things esp. when we are not so young! I am walking and exercising but my horse is still in livery so I am trying to build myself up to bring her home in the New Year. I was very fit pre-op and I am shocked how it's knocked me back but I am getting here slowly. I am pleased I didn't wait until I was any older before I had the op. Hope you are feeling better soon and remember to be kind to yourself. Jax xx
