I was just browsing through the online Your Horse magazine and found their confidence section and I thought this advice was brilliant - how often do we focus on what we can't do today and forget how much we can do - keeping a diary allows you to go back and remind yourself of how far you've come!
Start an ‘I did it’ diary It’s all too easy to focus on how far we have to go, rather than how far we’ve come. Keeping a diary of every step achieved is a great way to keep celebrating successes and reminding yourself that you’re moving towards that goal. It’s good use of your armchair time and will make you focus on the positives that happen every day.

I think Kelly recommends this in Perfect Confidence too. I keep a file of photos on my lap top which represent my achievements as I try to loose weight. But writing down all those tiny steps forward is a grand idea too. Thank you for reminding us all.
