Hello
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the Neue Schule Team up bit?
My current instructor is advising me to get a loose ring snaffle as opposed to the french link full cheek eggbutt I currently use.
I had considered the Team Up but wanted to hear from people that have used it?
Cheers
Mel

I use it for mouse who is very mouthy in a normal snaffle and a slow moving tank in a bitless bridle. Mouth invests definitely lessened in the team up, otherwise pretty similar to the French link I was using.

I'll be following this as I've been thinking about it for my lad - who is also currently in a full cheek french link.

I brought one for each of my ponies after doing some reading (I was suckered in by the marketing).
I spend over £100 on two bits and both ponies HATED then with a passion. It's the only time Amigo has ever run off with me, and Ailsa lent on it massively.. They are both back in a bog standard french link now and much happier, I however mad a £50 loss on them.
You live and learn. I would say if you want to try and find one you can borrow first so you don't make the same mistake I did. I know many peoples horses that go well in them, but it wasn't for mine at all.

I use them for my two baby Highlands and they are a great choice. Best though to talk to Heather at NS bits as she understands the whole business best.

Cheers Mel you could be using a washing line if she is training you correctly, even by you asking there is doubt! fine a classical trainer if you can,
