Hi there, I've been to look at a yard based in pangbourne west Berkshire, called cullinghood and wondered if anyone knows of it. I'm looking to take a youngster there and the facilities are amazing it's just the age old dilemma of moving somewhere new where you don't know anyone!! If anyone is on this yard or knows of it then I would really appreciate your views

Sorry can't help. I do know Sam and Lou Austin near Henley on Thames are good if that's any help! Welcome to the DG! x

I can't really say much about the yard, I've only been there once (in the evening, in the dark) for a taster-session on their mechanical horse. From the little I could make out in the dark, the facilities looked nice. I wasn't too impressed with the riding instructor that held the session on the mechanical horse - I just didn't understand her directions at all on what to do with my body. But I don't remember the instructor's name, and it might have been just one of those "you don't speak my language" things, so I'm afraid I'm not much help.

Thank you Kelly for the suggestion, I was aware of Sam and was thinking of asking for his help starting Ollie when I finally move him out here, but he may well know of the place too
Mags, thanks for your input, Its quite a big equestrian centre, so thought more people would have known of it,
Fingers crossed!! M

Hi morris, if you change the title of this thread to something like "Cullinghood, any experiences?" or "yard recommendations Pangbourne" you might get more replies, I thought this could be an advertising thread
