Jeez, that was fun! Took me back several years to hunting days on Dartmoor, so exhilarating. What a super pone, he's given loads of us a really exciting ride on the New Forest now!

I've watched both videos now, but one thing is puzzling me; how do you know which way to go? Are there signs to point the way because I haven't notice any, and how do you know you've reached the finish?

Just spied this and have to say I loved every minute of watching that! Huge well dones and pats on the back for both of you.
Such bravery from you and that excellent pone, thanks so much for posting. Makes me realise standing water is no excuse to avoid a good gallop... ;D x

Kafee, thats part of the challenge, there is no course! Its an original point to point. The riders don't know where the start or finish is until the actual start of the race, when you are taken to the start they tell you where the finish is. You can ride where ever you like. Needless to say you need to know the forest and the names of places on the forest. I've seen races where riders have come into the finish line from completely opposite directions!
The finish point itself is in between the two big lorries with flags on them - not very easy to spot!, you sort of head towards the crowds and hope to find it ;D
