Dinki is a 32" miniature with arthritis in his legs. He's done really well till now living out which is rare as normally he is in by september and has only the past few nights been in every night (he demards it! lol) but i do think coming in and letting his legs dry and in the warm helps his arthritis... he does also have magnetic stabl wraps but he's coming in with muddy wet legs so i can't put them on him without washing his legs which i'm trying to avoid doing. So... i was thinking of something to help keep his legs warm(ish) and dry (mainly) that he can wear during the day and them off at night in his stable and then his legs will be clean/not lagged in wet mud so i can put his wraps on... Problem is... finding something so small!! lol I was wondering if brushing boots would work in this sense?? Or i have found some wrap around sports boots but not sure if right thing... can't find any turnout socks/wraps small enough and every company i've contact can't make them smaller!

Don't know how robust these are but they're cheap enough to try I think. A pair of long socks or similar underneath if they're baggy might work. You could cut them so they come above the hoof. www.equinepodiatrysupplies.co.uk/Boots/Footskins

Tried them mandal for a pony with foot problems.. they are too big on the minis! lol Plus one of the ponies is shod and thinking... would that maybe rip them... plus work out expensive if having to use new ones daily... :/ i've been trying to find a solution to this problem for the past several years but the mud is soooooooooooo much worse this year!! lol
