Not the world, that's boring now. Dark nights! It's the Winter Solstice so it's only gonna get lighter from now on wahoo!! (Must remember that come February when it's STILL pitch dark).

I agree, Clara, brilliant news! :-) It doesn't how much wind/rain we have now at least the days are getting longer!
Only 2 months of feeding the horses in the dark when I get back from work now ;D

Hurray! we're one day into the road to spring! there is a light at the end of the tunnel! And come Jan/Feb it will be so much more bearable as I have new (non-leaky) boots, over-trousers and bodywarmer on my Christmas list!!

That's why we have Christmas Day on Christmas Day. Then "the light of the world" is born again.

Wonderful. The evenings very quickly seem to get lighter, but the mornings don't, for some time. I LOVE getting past the shortest day..... looking out for the first signs of snowdrops next!
