After moving yards to somewhere with a school so I could get my confidence back, we finally had the saddler out. Dan has not been ridden for months but the son if the yard owner was happy to be my jockey for today. So my 16.5 inch wintec dressage saddle was finally tested on Dan properly, and it was adjusted to fit but then slipped forward so a few more little adjustments and nope it still slipped forward! So time to search for a new saddle. I defiantly want a dressage/straight cut saddle. Does anyone have any experience of what sort of saddle is good and reasonable price

I personally would always go for a better quality second hand leather one than a brand new synthetic, I just don't like how the synthetics feel.
There are many different makes out there, your biggest issue will be what fits you and your horse. Did your saddler mention any options? Do they have second hand ones?

Oh and what do you class as reasonable £300, £500, £2000?
