Poo-picking - I'll do it daily, even if I feel like c**p, and collect even the tiniest scraps up - I can't help myself! Beds - straw has to be regular & flat, with banks equal on all sides, despite being wrecked 10 seconds after hooves hit it! It's not just me, I know there's straw plaiters out there ;D

The beds if anyone's ever in, they must be level and straight.. And the banks must be big and thick and levelled off on top! I hate when the kids do their stables, I fix them once they're gone!! They get regularly tested!!
Please thought, if you run out of poo to pick do come for a visit.. I want to be OCD but it hurts my hands too much anymore...

I'm with you Kizi but it's my back that suffers, I want to be a good poo picker but the pain is horrible.

Pony ocd was replaced with newborn baby ocd, even that's been replaced with "let's all get on with it" now I'm back at work. My sharer had tack cleaning ocd, that is a nice benefit altho fills me with guilt!! Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards

I would say I'm OCD about not being OCD about anything: too stressful! I used to have pony OCD, they had to be all sorted every evening: ridden, fed and tucked up in their field before seeing to the family. For some reason my mother-on-law found this outrageous!? I also used to have poo picking and riding OCD. Had to be done every day unless there was a very good reason , but I've got too many ponies, (and not enough energy), to be able to keep up with that now. These days I aim to clear the poo in summer when they're on a small area, (they're strip grazed), but not on a daily basis. I don't poo pick in winter, which I know a lot of people will find unwise. However, they are all my own ponies, the herd doesn't change often, I always wormed every 2 months, and I'd worm new ponies throughly before turning them out in the field. I'd been doing this for years before I had the first worm count done, which showed the newest pony to have a low count, the others had no eggs seen. These days I worm count and worm twice a year, they still have no eggs seen, and I don't need to fertilize.

Definitely mucking out OCD. My favourite was always woodchips as you can get a really level bed with nice even banks. Every bit of poo has to be removed and the bed needs to look spotless. However, since having Red on part livery i don't get to do it much anymore. I find myself tidying his bed though if the banks aren't level. I do get a Christmas treat every year and make sure i am there in the morning on Christmas day to muck him out. Can't wait, i really miss it!

Rugs, nice tack and washing and cleaning it. And feet. As if checking them makes them a better shape

I used to have general yard OCD. It had to be spotless, stables immaculate, muck heap squared, even the hay barn was swept daily. Now I am sharing a field and have no stables - no yard to sweep! Everywhere is thick mud at the moment, so my 'tidy freak' is having a holiday ;D I'm sure it will return in Spring.

Ahh yes i forgot about feet! Since Red went barefoot i am OCD about picking feet out. I am there in the dark with the head torch checking ensuring every tiny stone is removed from the white line and making sure there is not the slightest hint of thrush developing. Any doubt and it is treated with sole cleanse. I think that's a good OCD though.

Poo picking...sadly have to be OCD about this at the moment as fields are wrecked with this wet weather, so have to do whatever \i can to keep them in a good state as our guys live out around 18 hours a day.

I'm quite happy to be untidy at home and in the field as long as everyone is comfortable. Though having said that my fields are a lot cleaner & tidier than my garden.

If I poo pick or muck out I literally can't leave even the tiniest scrap, however if I don't start poo picking then I can leave it without worrying - wierd I know!
When I moved to part livery I found myself itching to tidy his bed up, I really really struggled to stop myself but have chilled out now as I do realise that as long as it is basically clean, Talin couldn't care less about a few stray bits of poo.

Making sure beds are thick enough. I worry less about neat banks etc, but they must be thick and comfortable. Otherwise I am fairly laid back.
