I am looking for big nets to roll round bales of hay into, I have the ones that fit to a sheep round feeder, but feeder and net together are very expensive and I know you can get Texas Nets in USA that you put whole bale in.
Does anyone know a website within UK I can order a couple from?
Thanks

This what you're after? www.robinsonsequestrian.com/toppa-net-black.htmlThe blurb says "In practical trials the use of the Toppa Net ,over a 5 ft round or square bale inside a field feeder, has shown savings of 50% on hay and much less mess around the feeder. With the cost of hay this winter - that is a big saving. The mesh size is 2 " and is made to fit a 5ft 3" stock feeder. It slows the greedy feeders giving a more natural rate of consumption and they can eat to the very bottom. It is simple to fit . Place the net over the bale and then simply weave the loose cords in and out of the bars.Do not loop around the top rim as this will stop the net dropping as the bale reduces.Secure both ends through the metal ring provided. Only half the net needs to be pulled back to replace the bale."

I have 2 from poise equestrian. They re in the uk, I found them through Facebook. Fab nets, I just pull them on over the top, push the bale over and tie it up. Like a giant haynet with a whole bale inside. They are small hole nets and shrink down as the bale does.
