Is this of micronized? That's sounds a lot. I was directed to feed Sophie 16hh a mug to her when she had severe hoof problems. I now feed her one cup equivalent and less to my others. The one from Charnwood. It is more than half of the metal scoop used for feed, more than a big mugfull and she is only little. It is only for the winter though.

Micronised linseed can be safely fed up to 100g per 100KG of horse. Vitamin E should be fed with it at the larger quantities and I read somewhere ( I am sure someone will confrim) that it can inhibit phosphate uptake and so you need the vit e. Agh - head ache - can't remember.
It all depends why you are using it.
