Thanks to everyone on here and the super helpful info you guys share! It's pretty hard in my parts to find anyone like minded less so anyone with the encyclopaedia of knowledge and experience you all have! I started Daisie on charcoal about 6 weeks ago after ruling out and trying every other option before I heard mention of the idea on here! I had quite a job to even find any! It has been a hard few months getting to the bottom of her extreme changes in behaviour, crankiness, and general not being herself at all as well as constant runny droppings etc. I decided large gut had to be the problem after a long process. This week Daisie started back to work after almost 5 months off work and oh my gosh she is sooo back! The kid that used to ride her for me was nearly in tears after riding her yesterday because we'd all missed 'our' Daisie so much and it is fab to have her back! I've her off all other meds and supplements, she was on mag and probiotic, and on a small maintenance dose of charcoal and the results are astounding! I am so glad that I had you guys!!!!! Not a great pic but it's Daisie over a year ago before I sold her then bought her back!!! 13.2h now, and only 3 in pic! Hopefully well on the road to some serious fun!!!!! Attachments:

I'm so thrilled, because I knew she was a good girl in disguise. Some others had labeled her dangerous at one point before I bought her back because I couldn't stand what was happening to her behaviour. Tho prior to selling her she'd been good as gold despite her young age... Obviously I didn't just think-bold pony let's try charcoal btw incase anyone thinks that.... I know all my ponies thoughts and personalities and knew she was asking for help, but she did also have medical symptoms and vet verified most likely colitis. Delighted for her so I am!!!!

We can read in your post how pleased you are, lovely to hear good news and that her diguise was temporary and you've managed to get rid of it.
