Hope no one has suffered any serious damage or injuries from the dreadful weather, it seems to have affected most of the country.

lost ridge tiles off big barn roof, 2 unduline panels off arean roof, falsh flooding in one field - sheep ARE stupid and had to be rescued from one area tha became a shrinking island. House boiler wouldn't stay alight ( wind and rain in wrong direction) a few tiles off the house roof and we have a bit less guttering now. one missing barn door 1 tree down. shivering pigs as thier pen blew away!

Have been clearing a new field I have rented and had a big bonfire of tree branches and brambles ready to burn. Most of it is now scattered over the surrounding allotments!

Two very heavy wooden panels that were hiding my unsightly caravan/ feed room collapsed and stuff blown everywhere and my half built field shelter very wobbly.............luckily area fenced off so no danger to ponies.
Sun came out and my dad and OH secured everything back into place and put extra supports on shelter.

We had a tree go over onto our perimiter fence, thankfully not in an area where they're turned out, I was really surprised none of our post and rail had gone over this morning, we've all moved our electric a couple of metres in from the post and rail in case it blows over.

Flooded feed room, luckily everything in bins or plastics bags aparts from one bags of nuts in paper bags but was able to rescue most of those into a bin, everything now stacked on table and on top of bins One stable also flooded so have pulled all the bedding up but my guys go in and out as they like so not a massive deal as they can still get out of wind and rain, other 3 stables all fine! Very, very muddy with lots of ground water nearly a foot in places, very pleased with my new yard as apart from end stable and few small puddle no flooding at all No horsey injuries

No horsey unjuries, several items decorating the trees around the school and my nicely swept yard covered in tree debris ;D I decided to bring all the horses in for the night last night, to dry out and have some hay. Battled through the driving rain to bring 5 in on my own. Jas is a complete nutter in wind and rain and was charging around doing vertical handstands and threatening everything within booting didtance! Once I had hold of her she calmed down, a bit ;D although we had some lovely passage and accompanying snorts on the way in! I had just done 10 haynets, 5 beds, 5 water buckets and hung the wet rugs to dry when the damn rain stopped, wind dropped and all was peaceful again! All out again today in a field with a bit more natural shelter.

I'd looked yesterday and we had quite a few small branches/very large twigs but otherwise all ok. Had a much closer look today and we've got 2 trees uprooted, one right behind Dibs' stable almost leaning on it but no real damage done thankfully.
