I don't really start posts on here very often but last year was so brilliant and couldn't of done it without IH so thought I'd share
So 2011 was the year I finally got my own horse for the 1st time (after a lifetime of riding schools and sharing) and finally got started on the IH courses!!! What more could a girl want? ;D
I found Molly at a yard where I was sharing another horse- she couldn't be caught and wouldn't load so of course I fell in love with her!!! She now walks over to me when I go to get her from the field and loads like a dream (I did get loading help from the lovely Rosie Jones).
I can't imagine doing any of it without the help of intelligent horsemanship. I've learnt soooo much on the courses- they were such good fun and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!
I've got a massive amount still to learn and hopefully one day I'll get my MRPCH. Rosie is helping me with with my ridden work now so she has the very challenging job of turning my riding into something that vaguely resembles competent but the journey's half the fun!!!!
So if any of you are thinking of going on the IH courses or getting an RA out stop putting it off!- they truly are brilliant and your horse really will thank you for it! ;D
So here's a massive thanks to Kelly Marks for making it all possible, to all the teachers on the courses and especially to Rosie for being so inspirational and very very patient!
Wishing everyone all the best for 2012- keep having fun with your horses!!! ;D ;D ;D
Here are a couple of pics of me and my lovely blue roan welsh D:
