We have a growing group of people up in the Hertfordshire area who want to help rescue some of the Dartmoor colt foals we are trying to re-home (see dartmoor foals urgently needing homes thread).
One girls is trying her best to get a large enough group together to either share prof. transport costs or to find someone who wants one or two who has transport and would share diesel cost.
So anyone in that neck of the woods who might be interested feel free to get in touch and I can give you the girls details. Fingers crossed new year might see all of these little tots rescued from being lion dinner xx

I would love to help but at the moment don't have time to take on an unhanded foal but I could help with transport if you felt it was safe to travel them in a trailer. I am based in high wycombe so could transport 2 back to the herts area. Let me know if you think they would be safe in a trailer. All I would want is diesel money

Tempted but know realistically I can't. That dun colt is so cute, I can't believe he hasn't found a home.

I god I want him! If anyone has the time to halter break him for me (I can make a financial contribution then I may be able to persuade my hubbie) or else I can sneak him in!!!!

Could you post pics of those that still need homes and I will see if anyone else in my area is interested?

Right I have agreed with Sarah to transport up to a maximum of 5 in my trailer to the Herts/Bucks area. I am only asking for the cost of diesel as I don't want to benefit in rescuing these lovely little souls. If anyone is interested in taking 2 and halter breaking one for me I would happily waive the cost of diesel. I don't at this present time have the facilities for a wild foal (I don't have a stable!) but could just about fit one in! Anyway if anyone else is interested and it just transport that holds them back please feel free to PM me if you are in near Bucks/Herts

Well everything crossed, just waiting for the last couple of payments to come through, BUT it looks as though we have re-homed all of these ponies.
Can't tell you how happy I am and how grateful for every ones help.
Most of all to Arki who has saved 5 little lives with amazing offer, totally wonderful, restores my faith in humanity.
