Thank you for that - we used to have a Harringotn CB many moons ago and just love the breed. Now we are friends of the breed so continue to support them but OH will want one again no doubt when he sees this. Our boy was huge at 17hh and at only 5'2" it was great fun trying to rug and tack him up especially as in those days they were the big heavy waxed NZ's but a total gentle giant - we love him.

Thank you so much for sharing that - absolutely beautiful photographic review of the year with this glorious breed.
It looks idyllic - makes me so crave those glorious summer days.

Holi Harrington is a famous stud.. I'm not sure it is still around now Marygold has died... one of the CB breeders I didn't get to see... Hope your OH succumbs <evil grin> I love all the sunny spring and summer photos.. Nothing quite like idyllic pics to remind one spring will come .... eventually CB's are a rare and sadly forgotten breed it seems to me anyway... 2yo Suki is absolutely drop dead gorgeous.. deeeeeep sigh.. Suzii mine is half CB too.. on her dad's side.. Oakenbank Grenadier..

It is a true CB lovers heaven.. but most of all it's a great reminder of spring and summer on a day like to day.. blizzarding and gales it warms my more than my log fire.
