I have managed to find Murf an amazing home but just need to get him there! I have looked at hiring something but I just don't have 300 odd quid for a deposit to do this. Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions on transport in Surrey that is affordable? The new home has no transport but I have found this home through a rescue and know it's a fab place but they probably can't afford a lot either

Do you know anybody with a 4x4 so that you can hire a trailer? That would probs be the cheapest option. Otherwise you and new home could share the transport costs

Ring Gillies of Scotland. they run up and down the country pretty much everyday and you may be able to get a lift as a share.
Fab people - very professional and very reasonable when I hired a 10 horse lorry and driver- in fact it was a BARGAIN

www.locltd.comFor a trailer the deposit is £50, I think it's the same for the small lorry but might possibly be £100. I've used them a number of times and never had any issues with getting my deposit back.

Thanks for the ideas. I have managed to find a friend to do this. It's such a relief to know that Murf will soon be in his lovely new home although I will miss him loads
