Hello,
I remember Ian from Hartsop talking about a full body dissection course but I can't remember who was the main organiser - does anyone know who I should get in touch with?
Also, has anyone done this course? If so, why did you do it - personal or work etc? And how useful did you find it?
I was also wondering if anyone knew of somewhere I can go and study a full skeleton/ muscle structure etc. I've tried the big vet school in Scotland (Royal Dick) but they told me they don't have a full skeleton.
Any ideas welcome.
Thank you.

I've found a previous post and see that it's Equine Touch who run the courses.
But any reviews would be great.

I found this message in the yahoo group for Equine massage. Hope this helps?:0) Someone was asking me where I got my skeletons from recently. You can always contact Dr. Deb Bennett via her website at www.equinestudies.org and you can expect them to be well prepared and finished properly. I have gotten them from a distributor I use: www.animalskeletons.net, however, the ones I purchased where cheaper and required additionally cleaning and preserving. They may be more of the finished product now. Cheers,

I have just had an email about this very thing! Had to delete it though as didn't lilke to think of dissecting horses! Gillian Higgins at Horses Inside Out is running some. Try googling her? Hope it works.

I think Gillian Higgins in the UK would be your best bet at the moment. Equine Touch's Ivana Ruddock does do dissection classes but with the loss of Jock, her husband, recently I doubt she will be planning too far ahead for these courses for now.

Just had an email recently from Gillian about lots of dissection courses she is running next year, so she would be a good person to talk to.
