;D He knew me, but he's very happy with his new humans and situation. ;D ;D I'd owned him from 6 month old foal from Beaulieu Road sale, until July this year when he was 3YO. He's currently resting until March. He went to a show 3 weeks after I sold him. He loaded into the lorry confidently, was well behaved at the show, and won his class: in hand condition, and was much admired by the judge! ;D ;D ;D I'd never taken him to a show as he was entire until September last year, or loaded him into a lorry. He would, however, load himself into my trailer at every opportunity! As his companion is the only mare on the yard, and there are mares in HIS neighbouring fields, he considers himself superior to everybody else, but then he always did! He hacked out occasionally until September, and was so confident that he was leading older horses past scary things like road works etc! I'd only hacked him out once, but he had been out for walks with me. He always was big, bold and bossy, so nothings changed there!
I'm incredibly proud of him, and very happy about his future. ;D
Sorry no pics, it was dark.
MTA I led him out the field, and his manners have definitely improved. ;D

Isn't it lovely when they are so happy in their new homes? I see my little old Arab mare, Silky, quite often, she has been with Ladyndibs since September and she has settled so well. All your hard work has paid off, Kafee. You should be very proud xxx

I'm so pleased to hear he is getting on well ;D
I did laugh at him being big, bold and bossy - you could be describing his half brother!

Thanks everyone, I'm still on cloud nine. I couldn't have found a better home for him. Really, really pleased. Just got to find similar homes for Inca and Woody next year, so I can work with Sky (rising 4, backed but ridden), and Tor (rising 3).
