Clicker training - at last! In the warm - brilliant! I can't wait to see Anne's shaping plan to train Bailey to come indoors, do you have to teach the horse to poo in a particular place in the stable first. So many questions. I'll get the Librarian to bring Don't Shoot the Dog Karen Pryor's book and put it in the HCM Library, in case anyone wants to borrow it.

We only finish when folks stop chatting, finnish their toasties and go home. This happens between 1.30 and 3.00! Seriously. The more formal part of the morning, the talk and demo will be 45mins - 1hr (from 11.30 just this once). People have been asking if they can have more time to socialise again, but I imagine this will ascend into a fascinating discussion!
Hope to meet you this time HelenG.
Catrin, wait till you see Bailey turn off the TV and do the vacuming!!!!!

Hmmmm I'm suddenly not sure if Bailey's big feet will be able to manage the TV's remote control lol! I'm sure he'd have a go if I offered it as a target!
Yes, please Catrin, I'd love to borrow 'Dont Shoot The Dog' pretty please?

The weather was so FANTASTIC, we wouldn't let people in the house, we forced them to enjoy the sunshine and blue sky!! Thank you weather angel. So Bailey got away without having to do his chores, but he did try to hand out a few parking tickets. The clicker training with a four year old at liberty was great and with the obvious shortage of a professional, Anne told us just where she found the info and support to do this, meaning it is actually accessable.
We had some regular HCMers, we saw a couple of faces we hadn't seen for a while and it was great to keep in touch and hear what they had been up to. AND we got to meet Kellie, HelenG and her mum, we hope you enjoyed it and will see you again soon.

Brilliant demo - great to see how much Anne had learned and applied in six months. It was an inspiration for many and probably the inspiration for a some party games at Christmas. Bailey was so impressive and obviously having fun.

Debbie, Emma and I were really sorry to miss this as we were in Northamptonshire at Derek Clark's that day, watching one of PKarl's instructors. We did think of you in all that glorious sunshine!!
