Tickets at the ready, for tomorrow night! If you are still wanting to come along just give me a call or drop me an email, everyone is welcome. It's not an evening to be missed, especially as Winter seems to be rapidly approaching and we have almost missed out on Autumn. It is quite a shock to the system, ours never mind the horses!! Rugs are fast appearing and hay disapearing, come along and get your Winter feed programme sorted sooner rather than later.

I really enjoyed the talk, i've learnt so much and definately need to learn more! and take notes next time! I've told my friends about what i had learnt which resulted in quizing the baileys rep at robinsons today, picking up loads of leaflets and brochures on different feeds especially balancers lol, interrogating the staff at my local feed store and then standing in a tack shop comparing different vitamin and mineral supplements! I must have looked and sounded like a right geek lmao. Thankyou for organising it

Glad you could make it Helen. I love Zoe, doesn't she simplify all the scientific stuff so it's easier to grasp?! Last Christmas the HCM presents were note books just for events like these!!! It sounds like you might have had a few people quaking in their shoes, but good for you, no harm in asking, it all depends on how they answer. These things are designed to go INTO our horses, why shouldn't we ask?
BTW - step AWAY from the supplements if you're feeding a balancer!!
Also I'm going to get some prices for speedi beet etc and I'll post on the HCM site, after last Winter and all the frozen water troughs I like the idea of getting extra moisture into our horses.

lol the supplements are not for me. My friends mare would do great being just on a balancer but has to persuade her dad for the £25! he also doesn't see the point in feeding something so expensive because they're trying to sell her. So to keep everyone happy and pony healthy decided on a cheapish all round vit and min supplement to add to her existing hi-fi lite. Zoe was great I'm going to see if i can persuade our yard trustees to let her come to our yard to do a talk for everyone. mmm warm speedibeet jinks would love that.
