we had our tenth birthday on 9th November and that evening the call came through to say we had been chosen as the Charity of the Year. I will never forget that feeling and all of us at Shy Lowen feel honoured to be carrying that title. I've just read through the fundraisers underway on here and read the comments from when we were named and I feel humbled that you are all making such an effort on behalf of Shy Lowen. Thank you on behalf of our inmates for helping make their lives a little easier and giving them the chance of a brighter future. We've been planning our Christmas open afternoon too, that takes place on Saturday 5th December and starts at 1pm, Father Christmas will be in attendance. It would be lovely if any of you can make it - it's muddy so wellys are the order of the day We're also involved currently in the rescue of a large group of welsh foals and yearlings from Conway if anybody has the capacity to take any or provide transport or temporary accomodation for them please let me know asap as time is running out for them.....
