It's such a shame you are so far away. I've not yet seen a clinic or demo that you've advertised that I wouldn't have gone to if you'd been under an hour away!

WoW!! Those Pen Llyn people are fantastic. If you get the opportunity of going to stay with them for a weekend to ride their horses - then take it! We had the most wonderful lecture/demo with them on Friday, and had 130 spectators. We could have had at least 50 more (*sob*), but we have limited car parking at New Barn so Pam and I were turning people away right, left and centre in the last couple of days - heartbreaking to have to lose all those £20's - and deny people the opportunity of seeing some wonderful work. The lessons on the Saturday were A -Maze- ING!! Those horses were just complete saints and gently conveyed 18 enthusiastic riders all day (each horse did 3 hours work with an hour's break in between each session, boy are they fit). Everyone got the opportunity to try the following: Half pass, flying changes, piaffe, passage, extended trot, travers, counter canter. Each horse was a complete gentleman, including the stallions who behaved perfectly throughout. Justine and Marcia Pendlebury are horsewomen through and through and by golly, wouldn't it be just wonderful if every single riding school had horses like this for people to learn on. A real honour and privilege to have had them with us. ps, Even I creaked onto one of their lovely horses, and it was a joy to be reminded that yes, I can still do the stuff on occasion!! ;D mta: pictures will be on their way in due course.
