Well, we worked our Western riders hard today - with 13 private lessons during the day!
All bar two horses were able to be fitted with the western saddles, and we even had a handful with the western bridles too.
It was quite amazing how many horse and riders really took to this first introduction to Western, and impressive how many combinations achieved softness in the outline after just one hour of teaching. We are hoping to do much more Western stuff at New Barn from now on, especially as we feel it has so much in common with Classical work.
